MacBook Repairs on the Sunshine Coast, from Screens to Logic Boards
Cracked Retina display, a battery that dies before lunch, or a Pro that went quiet after a coffee spill: we repair MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, Intel and Apple Silicon (M1-M4), from our Buderim workshop with mobile pickup across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.
What we fix
Common MacBook Faults We Repair
Every job starts with a proper diagnosis, not a guess. Here is what lands on our bench most often.
Screen Replacement
Cracked Retina panels, vertical lines, dim corners and backlight failures on both Air and Pro, including the flex-cable faults some older Pros are known for.
Battery Service
Rapid drain, "Service Recommended" warnings, or a swollen pack pushing the trackpad out of its housing. Swelling is a safety issue, so do not sit on it.
Keyboard & Trackpad
Sticky, dead or repeating keys on butterfly and scissor mechanisms, plus trackpads that stop clicking or drift. Full top-case replacements where needed.
Liquid Spill Recovery
Coffee, water or wine in the keyboard? Power off, do not charge it, and get it to us fast. Early corrosion treatment saves far more machines than people expect.
Logic Board Micro-Soldering
Component-level work under the microscope: no-power boards, faulty charging ICs, damaged USB-C ports and shorted power rails, on Intel and M-series alike.
SSD & Data Recovery
File recovery from Macs that will not boot, plus SSD upgrades on Intel models. On Apple Silicon the storage lives on the board, so recovery starts with board repair.
Fans & Overheating
Jet-engine fan noise, thermal throttling and random shutdowns. We clear clogged heatsinks, replace tired fans and refresh thermal paste properly.
Not Sure What's Wrong?

MacBook Repair FAQs
Do you repair Apple Silicon MacBooks, M1 through M4?
Yes. We work on every MacBook Air and Pro generation from the Intel era through to the current M4 machines, including screens, batteries, ports and component-level board repair.
I spilled liquid on my MacBook. What should I do right now?
Shut it down, unplug the charger and do not plug it back in, even if it seems fine. Corrosion spreads while power is present. Get it to us as soon as you can, ideally the same day.
Can you recover data from a MacBook that will not turn on?
Often, yes. On Intel models we can usually read the SSD directly. On Apple Silicon the storage is soldered to the logic board, so recovery means reviving the board first, which is exactly the micro-soldering work we do in-house.
How long does a MacBook repair take?
Most batteries, screens and keyboards are done the same day. Liquid damage and logic-board work can take longer because we test thoroughly before handing anything back, and we will keep you posted throughout.
