Grades describe cosmetics only: every device passes the same functional tests regardless.
Barely a mark
Looks close to new. You would have to hunt for signs of use, and even then you might not find any.
Light everyday wear
Small scratches or scuffs you notice up close, invisible in a case. The sweet spot for value.
Worn but working
Visible cosmetic wear, priced accordingly. Same testing, same sanitising, same 90-day warranty.
What every device goes through first
Nothing is listed until it has earned its place. Four checks, no shortcuts.
Full function test
Screen, cameras, speakers, microphones, buttons, ports, wireless and sensors, all exercised and verified.
Battery assessment
We measure battery condition, and if it does not hold up, we fit a replacement before listing.
IMEI and lock check
The IMEI or serial is checked and activation lock is confirmed removed, so ownership transfers to you cleanly.
Wipe and sanitise
Previous data is fully erased, the operating system is freshly installed and the device is physically cleaned and sanitised.

Refurbished device questions, answered
What does the 90-day warranty cover?
Hardware faults. If something stops working within 90 days, bring it back to Buderim or arrange a pickup and we make it right. Cosmetic wear described in the grade, and accidental damage after purchase, are not covered.
How do I know the device is not stolen or locked?
Before listing, we check the IMEI or serial number and confirm activation lock has been removed. You sign in with your own Apple ID on day one, with a clean history behind the device.
Is refurbished the same as second-hand?
Not quite. A private second-hand sale is as-is with no comeback. Our refurbished devices are tested, sanitised, graded and warrantied, and we are still here next week if you need us.
Can I trade in my current device?
Yes. We buy used phones, MacBooks and iPads for cash, which can take a healthy chunk off the price of your next device. See our sell your device page or mention it when you call.

We are based in Buderim QLD 4556, an easy run from Maroochydore, Sippy Downs and Caloundra, and we regularly get devices to customers in Brisbane. Doors are open Monday to Friday 6:00am to 11:30pm and weekends 5:00am to 11:30pm, so pickup fits around work, school runs or shift patterns.
